Hi! brand new member. Just starting. Have a new 2023 Kia Stinger GT2 and very proud of it. Runs like a bandit.

Have an issue I want to see if anyone else has had. When I lock the car the side mirrors tuck in. Suddenly today they don't and I have not set any settings to cause that. Any idea as to what is happening? Should I be concerned and call the dealer?

Trying to attach a pic of the car sorry but no matter what I do it's rotated crazy oh well you get the idea.

I'm sorry if opening a new thread is gonna make me look bad but again I'm new give me some tips if I'm doing this incorectly.

Did you accidentally hit/move the mirror button on the driver side door controls/by the window buttons?

Hmmmm no - actually was getting in the car and noticed the mirrors were out thought hhuu. so i made sure the car was locked using the key fob and it locked but mirrors remained out. Its a very small thing but troubles me

Oh and thanks yes I love that color it's of course the Panthera Metallic. Figured I could't go wrong with that.

I apologize I got it like yesterday and the owners manual being this 3 volume set sort of intimidated me. But, I'll get to it. I know I want to get into the settings. Noticed the heads up display is too low and that's something I can play with and get just where I want it.

I had a Mercedes SL550 Roadster prior to this and loved it. Really fun car. BUT, the maintenance costs were KILLING me. I don't feel, at all, like I've stepped down with this new car. In fact It really feels like a step UP to me!

Inside drivers side door. Where the buttons to roll window up or down. Above that should be the mirror controls. I forget exactly what it is but if its switched/tilted to one side, i think it prevents mirrors from folding in

Ahhhhhh I understand what you're saying. It has to be left in the middle Idle position rather that on left or right adjust to make that work - I'm gonna check it and see if it;s something that simple i'll be embarrassed for being so stupid, but, eternally grateful for your guidance. In fact, You've been really helpful and I thank you a million times for the nice welcome.

No worries. Hopefully that is all it was. With all the new technology you never know. Hopefully something easy. We all had to learn our way around. I still am. Have inly had my 22 since april.

OMG - You are SO good - that is ALL it was. I had the mirror controls left on the right setting moved it back to the center and locked the car and they BOTH tucked in. I;m SO glad you were here today! Thank you!

I think you just click the box with your letter in it. So box with the letter R. Then when that next screen pops up, click the box where it says “edit”. Then follow steps to upload. I think. As you can see, i dont have a pic. Hahaa

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! I’m glad you found us. It sounds like you made a good move considering the maintenance costs of a Mercedes SL550. Another great car, though. I’m glad to see you got the mirror situation handled.

Howdy and welcome. How come nobody else seems to know this but me? Resize the pic at your end that you are uploading sideways, and it will reload at this end right side up. Panthera Metal was my choice, but my wife insisted on Silky Silver and it has been a win for me. (She wanted a color that showed winter grime less, but neither of us knew that I would turn into a weekly/biweekly car washing guy. )
