Hi all, new member and owner here from Miami. I just purchased a white, no-option 2018 base model. Loving it so far. Yes, I test drove the GT; mesmerizing power but I couldn't justify the hike in price.

I do my own maintenance where possible and try to keep my cars close to stock, running, and looking clean.

Looking forward to learning here. Nice community.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you?

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new ride!

Welcome hummus! It’s still a damn nice ride and not to be sorry for. Enjoy the hell out of it.

Thanks all! I am super happy with the car. It's way overqualified for my daily commute. The hatch came in handy on the very first night that I had it, with an airport run to pick up the in-laws
This car is replacing my much-appreciated current-gen Elantra Sport. That is a super-fun, well-built car and a great deal in its own right, but I had underestimated how much space I need for the family. Stinger fit us to a T. Going to miss the Elantra's tuned stock exhaust though--sounded like a toned down Abarth, occasional pops and gurgles and all.

Oo, another base Stinger. I can ask my question: Where are your nine speakers located? I have an ongoing project to ID where the nine speaker system's speakers are placed. Apparently some have subwoofers under the front seats and they are not supposed to according to Kia's description; but also apparently, that description is out of date? Don't know! Right now, it's looking like the base Stinger and GT in the US (and Canada?) have two subs, one speaker in each back door, two speakers in each front door and a central speaker in the dash.

Oh, and welcome!

G’day & welcome to the forum, congrats on your new ride, you will love it.

Welcome and Congrats on your Stinger!
