Ooooooo nice! I like that badge MUCH more with the black backing than the "free floating" one their putting on the 22s. That looks really sharp!

I got both from KDM warehouse. The emblem wasn’t listed yet so I had to email them. The devil claws were a bit of a pain. I tried painting them glossy black but it would just not take, even with sanding, primer, and 3 coats of gloss black paint it still was a matte color.

Nah that E is a hella ugly logo

I think the E looks cool but it doesnt mean anything. Kia starts with a K. Stinger starts with an S. The Engineered with Excellence is just so lame to me. Is the Telluride not Excellent? Is the K5 not excellent? Is the Sorento not excellent? Other manufacturers think they are excellent as well. I have a friend with a Chevy SS and he put the Holden badge on and that actually makes sense. The E just doesnt make sense to me. Im not putting an "excellent" badge on the car.

I actually think it makes sense for US/Canada/Australia/others to want to use the E because Korea does, so if you want to copy Korea since thats where the original is I wont argue with you. Im saying what Korea does and putting on the E makes no sense lol.

I see your point, if they gave us a similar level of vehicle as in Korea instead of de-contenting it, to me that badge was for that car. Since KIA isn't a "premium" brand most people's mind in the US and they don't want to pay more for "a KIA", makes sense to trickle things in on it. Personally, they way they have it for 2022 is what I would have expected on the initial launch. I wasn't even thinking a 2.0T was coming since it was never announced.

Looking at the Audi etron GT, they should do an EV version of the Stinger in the future.
