Hi everyone,
I am not sure the rules on posting something like this, or where it should even go...maybe a 'sticky' thing? Not even sure that is the best title, this online stuff is not really my area (not sure if 'Announcement' is even right word, lol). Anyways, I, like many people on here, have a car that has just the plain rubber dead pedal for my LHD car. Kia did at least let us buy the other two pedal sport versions, but the dead pedal is not available. You need to look at junk yards, used parts, things like that.
Well, some people on here were lucky enough to find them aftermarket for RHD cars, as shown here:

So, I reached out to the person who makes these on Etsy, Mat from AutoCOVR, in Poland (autoCOVR | Etsy), and asked if he would do the same for LHD (North America, at the least) cars. He said, 'sure, if you can help me design it,' and so he and I have been going back and forth for the past few weeks, with me taking measurements, pictures, etc, and he has sent me a mockup to print out and test (I will do that tomorrow) on my own pedal. Will be trial and error, but I wanted to share this in case people are interested. I now also have a mockup pic of his design. It will just be a cover you stick on. The people who already bought from him for the RHD version can attest to it being a good product, I am sure, feel free to ask them from the post I linked above.
Here is a pic of his design. I like it better than the stock, with the Stinger logo he has on there. Once we are sure the measurements, design all work, he will create them and put them up for sale. Just wanted to let everyone know, and maybe weigh in on the design as he is looking for input. I mean, it is just a rectangle, lol, but I think the way he does it is a good match to the Kia sport pedals. Below is the digital mockup and below that is a picture of the one he does for RHD already, matched up with the Kia sport pedals. I think it looks great, personally. I will update once we get things finalized, he gets production going, etc.
Any feedback is appreciated!
