New Kia Stinger owner from Germany

Hey Guys,

I just want to introduce my self real quick.

You can call me Schpok. I'm from Germany.


Last week I purchased a black 2.0L KIA Stinger, with the so called "P1 exclusive pack".
For me the pack got everything I want and need.
The car will be deliviered arround May/June and I will pick it up at my local dealership.

I'm already looking for wheels, Suspension and Body-mods.
But I'm sure I won't touch the last 2 things until mid next year

I'm very extited and I'm looking forward to the first drive in my own Stinger.
But until than I'm happy with my 2015 Honda Civic.

Maybe you could add, how far you lower the car on the "storm Sport springs". Would be helpfull

Thank you Yes i think it will get popular once you see some cars on the road. But at the Moment, Germans are still scared to buy KIA's because of the unreliability 10 years ago And the Germans are like, let's Support und own Country, so the only brands we buy are German once. (even though we all know german cars get build everywhere but not in Germany )

Sphcok, where do you live in Germany? I am in the Dallas area of Texas.

@Schpok: You‘re not the only one. ;-) I am from NRW (near duesseldorf) and I‘ve placed my order for a Stinger GT, too. I am looking forward to proudly present my new car to every german badge lover even if they probably won‘t get why I have bought that wonderful car. In Germany most people are not very open minded and for them it counts more to drive a prestigious car that looks very expensive than owning something special. I don‘t care - the less people will drive a Stinger the more I will enjoy it. I‘ve bought a Mazda RX-8 many years ago and these days I also enjoyed to drive a very rare car.

I just wondered ... Star Trek is probably even known a bit among Sci Fi Haters, especially Spock. You'd basically have to live under a rock on the moon for not knowing him Or maybe not the moon, that's is too close to space and he might have visited you ... so maybe inside a Volcano.

Finally After a 6 months Wait I picked up my Brand new stinger on friday

This Weekend I already drove 320km
And I Love every Single km with it.
The lane keep Assistent is woth the Money for sure it's Perfect to get used to the width of the car

Sadly there was a pruduction error on one of my wheels, where it looked like the wheel got scrached and repainted. Lucky me I noticed it Even before I drove of the lot. My car is now back at the Dealer to fix the wheel.
As Exchange I got a 2018 sorento fully loadet, not to Bad for a few Days

It looks great! My friends from Bad Kissingen visited me in Dallas the end of March and agreed the Stinger is an excellent handling auto and pretty amazing for the price. Mine is black also...you made an excellent choice!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

new wheels are deffenetly planed for next season
and if the KIA badges bother me I'll Change them

@Schpok: Careful of the width! For sure! It'll catch you when you park, trying to get snuggly with the curb (and far away from the car to your side). I KNOW this from aggravating experience. Hopefully you will not add more "dings" to your gorgeous wheels!
