Hi, I am about to collect my late 2020 Stinger GTS and am quite keen to install a JB4. However, here in the UK we get an unlimited 7 year warranty which I definitely don't want to invalidate so will need to remove the whole set-up every 6 months when it goes in for servicing
That's a pain so I am keen to establish that there is no trace left of having ever installed any such device
I am still reading through the info hear but have seen reference to 'fuel wires' being worthwhile to get the most out of the JB4 but see on the JB4 sellers listings that these are now already fitted.
Does that mean I really only need to plug the JB4 connectors into the stock ones and there's no extra messing about with tapping into the car's wiring?
I guess the JB4 kit has been evolving so the reason I ask is that it is possible it is simpler to install than a when many of the posts here were created.
Finally, I ought to stress I am not used to doing this sort of thing and don't possess the skills many of you here clearly do so I am looking to keep this whole process as simple as possible but also be able to choose Maps. If I buy the mobile adaptor and wire it into the JB4 unit as per the videos I can find online does that also avoid tapping into any additional stock wiring? I'm not bothered about data logging. All I really want is to be able to selct Maps to settle on the one I want
I also want the car to retain its full 'Mode Selector' functionality to be able to put it into Eco for longer boring journeys, etc, with all the benefits that brings including the gearbox coasting facility which I found really good on a previous BMW
Many thanks in advance for any responses.

If you buy the fuel wires, which I recommend, buy the adapter plug. That allows you to tap into the adapter and not the factory wire. I also recommend the blue tooth adapter! Pulling everything out is a breeze, it takes <15min, that includes opening and closing the hood, LOL.

Just get our optional fuel control adapters if you don't want a small pin hole in your factory o2 sensor harnesses!

I'm unable to order these from your site, it won't show shipping options for my address in Southern California. Is it possible to pick a pair up in person or is there a different method to obtain?

Like others have said the JB4 will leave no trace once you remove it. For the fuel wires, you will want the adapters like was also said so that you don't tap the factory wires.

It is recommended that you upgrade the spark plugs when going with a JB4 and this requires partial removal of the intake manifold. If you are not comfortable with that, you should probably stay stock.

As for the Mode Selector, the JB4 does not affect in any way the different modes.

If you get the JB4, get the BlueTooth adapter so that you can use the app. You can change the tune on the fly.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Since the JB4 isn't CARB approved yet we can't allow sale in to California, sorry. :(

We're working on submission but they are so slow. We just got approval for our Q50 JB4 after submission over 2 years ago.

Thanks Terry, I understand issues selling the JB4 in California but didn't think fuel wires were of particular concern to the State. Regardless, I was able to get a really nice set of fuel and EWG wires for $99 from a vendor on eBay (PM me if anyone is interested). Install was a cinch.
