Hi y’all!
I actually got my ‘22 Stinger RWD GT2 back in October, but I stumbled upon this site while trying to learn more about the JB4 tuner. I’ve only seen a few other Stingers around my area, so I figured this would be a good place to chat and learn and whatnot.

Thank you!
Well, the Stinger is the 7th car in my current personal car lot, but I had, and still have, a ‘09 Kia Borrego. I’ve never had a car more reliable and dependable than Kia.

And yeah, the JB4 is….fun. We put it, along with the air intakes and the plugs, in last Tuesday and I have been having a BLAST going far too fast far too quickly!

I'm in Southern Pines. AWDGT2 is in Fayetteville. He is the stinger guru and has a really fast car. He helped me install my meth system. If you have any mod questions, he is the guy. I'll try to remember to hit you up next time we go to Fayetteville cars and coffee.

I would really love that. Thank you for thinking of me and for the suggestion as far as mods help/info. I really appreciate it!
Be well and have fun!

I'm in Fayetteville, I'm slow though. I might have played with the JB too for a little while :)

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Stinger swarms get rather large back East, it seems. But the Aussies have you guys beat. :)

I’m located just southeast of Raleigh. Do you have a shop that you would recommend in the area? I’m in a G70 and have CPI kit and ark secondaries that I need installed. I’m new to the area and have no clue what shops/tuners are around. I’d also like to get her on the dyno once install is completed.

Welcome!

Hey whosaidiwassafe,

Welcome to the Stinger Forum and congrats on your '22 GT2!

It is great to see that you picked up another Kia after having a great past experience with the brand.

As far as the Jb4 piggyback tune goes, it is a reliable and easy-to-install tune, we have more info on our site Burgermotorsports-JB4 Tune.

If you are every looking for any other aftermarket or OEM parts or modifications you can always browse our store at www.K8StingerStore.com.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you would like a discount on your order!

Enjoy the new ride,

Daniel @ the K8 Stinger Store

Are you in the Benson Smithfield area? There are a few really good shops in and around Fay but that might be a drive. CPI kit is quite easy to install yourself and it requires no special tools. (Unless you have to drill and tap your IC) But even that isn't difficult. I assume you already have the JB in?

I am in Clayton. I’m willing to drive, but would prefer something a little closer, 30-45min.

Yes I’ve got JB4, plugs, CAI.. the basics lol. It looks pretty simple I just don’t have experience installing a FMIC and don’t have jacks for the secondary down pipes. So atm they’re just sitting in my garage. Other than that I would like to build a relationship w/ a shop for future mods/tuning.

Performance Auto in Spring Lake has the best reputation around. But that is a drive. Scotty B had the best advice with the FB group. I'll see you there. There's also a "Triangle Stingers" FB group. There's only 82 of us in it but it's pretty tight and they are all closer to you than Fayetteville is.
