New GT2 Owner

Hello everyone! Greetings from Chicago. I'm officially a proud owner of a new GT2 in "Arrest Me" red. Beautiful car and definitely a neck breaker. Have only seen 1 on the road here and I freaked out the wife when I screamed "HOLY CRAP"!!! She JUMPED and said WHAT....WHAT HAPPENED??? I quietly replied "another stinger". Commence eye-roll. Its like spotting a great white elk lol! Look forward to talking to all of you and happy to be here!

Thank you! I used to drive a JGC Overland Hemi. The wife and I were both in the market for a new car and she wanted a new SUV. I said GREAT! No need for 2 SUVs in the family so I traded in the Jeep for the Stinger. Amazing car....when the radios turned up. Unfortunately I already started getting some minor rattles. Passenger door rattle at high speeds, the sunroof issue albeit minor right now, and a mystery tambourine sound coming from the exterior. I only hear it when the windows are down and it seems like its coming from the rear brakes. Rattles when the back tires go over small bumps and doesn't seem to happen when I lightly apply the breaks. Ill see what Kia has to say on my first visit.

These are all minor annoyances that one has to expect with a first year model. Totally fine with it and will work through them. Small price to pay for such a great car!

Congrats! no annoyance for me 5000 mies and car has been solid and amazing to drive on a daily basis.

"Arrest Me" red.

I've posted this a dozen times or more but you probably wouldn't have seen it. I originally wanted micro blue (and I love the red as well) but ended up with "blend in" white, because the last thing I need is a car this fast that screams "HEY OFFICER LOOK OVER HERE"...

Buzzrush: Congratulations on your purchase! As much as High Chroma Red wasn’t my first choice - it has grown on me. It’s an attractive car in any color I’ve seen. As far as “arrest me Red” , I’ve placed this on my desk to remind me to “chillax”. db
