Genesis took the wraps off their new G90 in Korea earlier today. Here are a couple of videos:
Engine lineup is the same, 3.8, 3.3T and 5.0, looks really luxurious and that grill certainly stands out. Almost looks like Acura’s diamond design but blended quite nicely. Car has almost a Rolls Royce presence to it, nicely done. You can still see the look of the last gen version in the proportions, the wheel design is certainly different and the new light signature front and rear makes it stand out even more. I like how they spelled out Genesis on the trunk to let folks know what it is. The interior looks similar to what I remember from the last gen version but the infotainment screen looks like it got an upgrade. The handle to open the door looks similarly integrated with the chrome line as how Mazda does in in the current 6. We will have to wait for the press ride and drive in a couple of weeks to get a more detailed look at it.
The updated G80 will be next to be introduced. I wonder if that car will get the new engines they are working on. Still prefer the look of the K900 at this point, waiting to drive one when it becomes available in my area.
