Hi all,

I bought a GT2 about 3 months back. Loving the car. Too much even given that I've put almost 9000 miles on it already. I'm here to poke about and shoot the breeze over our favorite car together. Hope to see you all about!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What did the Stinger replace for you? I’m glad you found us. :)

Had an old 2010 Camry LE before that was an emergency buy when the old car failed. It served us well but at 200,000 miles its time was up, even though it still ran really well, just a little sloppy on the auto transmission.

Our situation has improved (vastly) since then, so the wife now has a Telluride Nightfall Edition, and I opted for the GT2 Trim on the Stinger. Out of the 2 cars, my wife prefers to sit in and be driven about in the Stinger, although I don't mind driving the Telluride personally. I recently took the Stinger for a drive through the Ozarks. Took me a little while to understand how it likes to be set up going into and through corners, as my last sporty sort of car was a 2010 Ford Focus XR5 (known as the ST in the USA) back in Australia which was tuned to about 250whp. The Focus in comparison is very nimble and responsive in corners. The Stinger is great through corners too, and probably grips better than the Focus did, just due to it being a RWD and so the front wheels aren't being overloaded like in the XR5, but the Stinger likes to be given a little more time to setup and settle I guess is the only way to describe it. Had a blast though getting it sideways out of corners a few times :D

Stew, ntmu! I completely share your enthusiasm for the Stinger. I have a GT1. The more I drive it, the more I enjoy it. I have owned much more expensive cars. The Stinger's steering is my favorite. I love the way it holds the road. The car is beautiful on aesthetics -- outside and inside.

I am still playing around with different speeds on different roads.

Looking forward to you shooting the breeze with us. Oh.... and, welcome!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Welcome ot the forum and we need some pics of the new ride!

Howdy. Handling is my priority. Noise and raw power upgrade is non existent for me, since the stock 3.3L has more than enough power (and thankfully the noise level is low). :D
