New exterior/interior tuning package for the 19MY Stinger in Korea

I assume at that price all the "carbon fiber" bits are just plastic with a fake carbon fiber print on them, or are these actual carbon fiber? It just seems so silly replacing a pep boys fake hood vent with a more expensive fake hood vent. Although I think the CF style replacing the black chrome bits is a step up, I'd go one step further and just make them matte black. Alcantara wheel looks sweet although I agree having it on a daily driver might get a little too much use.

The roof skin interests me though. I feel like it'd be a nice addition to models with a sunroof so you have that Optima look of consistent black on top, but if you got a base GT with no sunroof, you'd just be making the whole roof black for no reason? What's the advantage to that unless you just don't like the color paint you chose?

That's both impressive and confusing. Impressive because I would think a car manufacturer would want an even higher profit margin so it's not a bad price for actual CF. Confusing because if you're gonna put carbon fiber in a car this heavy, why not use it to replace actually heavy parts instead of light plastic?

Alcantara on any surface your hand touches is a terrible idea. I've had it on the steering wheels of my AMGs and its impossible to keep clean and unmatted for long. Carbon/perf leather steering wheel, carbon shift knob would be my choice.

Maybe they’ll include leather driving gloves? My hands are acidic, I melt reading materials. Not for me.

I am sure I could just get these parts from a kia dealership later on. Would really like the carbon parts.

2700 with everything including the BBS wheels? The wheels alone are worth spending the money..

Not the carbon fiber! o_O Carbon fiber on anything other than a real supercar looks so silly...too Fast and Furious for me.

+1
And i love the black chrome...

In my shopping I saw the original 19” wheels black dipped. They looked GREAT. I agree that them in black chrome would be even better. I love the design of the wheels on my ride but do wish they where black chrome to match the rest on the GT2.

I don't know, I've only recently heard about this "plasti-dip" thing and it makes the wheels look really tacky...like they're covered in rubber. And then after a few months it seems to start feeling off.

Yeah I've always considered plasti-dip on wheels to be something fun to do with already used and maybe scuffed up wheels or do a wacky color for the wheels with your winter tires on. I wouldn't consider it an upgrade from stock wheels. Also regarding the $2700 including the wheels... that price is converted from the Korean price I assume? I imagine if available in the USA it'll be double that for the same reason we have to pay more than Canada and don't get the same features everyone gets. Still not sure what that reason is, but count on Kia jacking the price up just for us.

The wheels look to be BBS CIR series, which on Tire Rack are going for 2440 USD for a set of 4 in the 19" size - that is a pretty substantial part of the package price ...

My former 2016 Nissan Maxima SR , had steering wheel alcantara inserts and seats, nice aesthetic feature but impractical and useless, in my humble opinion. Yes, It can be cleaned with a specific formula, but the alcantara surface will lose its softness to the touch. I would not recommend it.

I had to do a second look to see what the difference on the car was. Can you get some other photos to better show off the parts? It's not showing too well in the photos.
