New Design Hood and Hatch Emblems Now Available

They're flat and come up on the corners I've found (on the front). Need to bend them slightly.
Do you have the new version pictured in the first post of this thread? The new rear emblems have a bit of a curve to fit the Stinger better...

Not sure. I have the front one ordered about month and half ago in black.

The new version wasn't available then. LODEN is always working on making improvements to their emblems. I don't know of any other emblem manufacturer that supplies the Stinger who does the same.

So the new 4th generation LODEN front hood badges have a slight curve in them do they?

Can you get them without the checkered pattern like the older ones?

Just leaving a brief review in case anyone would like to purchase these for their stinger.

Material: Metal - no signs of plastic other than potentially the K lettering on the bright chrome emblem

Composition: 3 piece; (1) Base plate with adhesive backing (1) center piece with checkered pattern (1) lettering

Color: Bright Chrome or powder coated black.

The powder coated black emblem has "loden" once on the base plate whereas the bright chrome emblem has it twice.

Do note that the Bright chrome emblem is "thicker" or sits more proud on the surface than the powder coated black emblem.

If the emblems did not arrive defective I would say it is a great product overall. I would recommend a clearcoat over the center piece however to protect the finish of the bare metal...

I have verified that there was an issue with some of this batch. Most were fine, others were not. But, the good news is that the issue has been rectified and new emblems are on the way... Thank you very much for pointing this out!

Mine was flatter than Natalie Portman, but you'd never know it on the car.

You'll know it when the edges pull up like mine. You can bend them slightly.

Meh, if it happens I'll hit up Sal. My buddy owns the shop that installed everything so I'll be good.

Are these Vintage K hood and hatch emblems the same dimensions as the KIA emblems that came on the car? The dimensions shown on the website for both of them are 1x1x.5 in?

Anyone who has used the fourth generation - do they sit flush with the car?

Those stupid dimensions strike again... For some odd reason when I use the correct dimensions, it causes the shipping charge to be higher than it should be. Some quirk with the system... The Vintage K emblems are sized to match the Stinger's emblems. The 4.0 has more of a curvature to fit the contour of the Stinger's body - but it's a very slight curve. They do fit better than the rest of the flat emblems you see everyone else using...

ACES and PIES configurations strike again! Good ol' SEMA classifications.
