New Decal/Graphics ideas...have one?!

This is a good thread to bring this up again: it's been discussed twice that I know of: both times, "we" came up with our own home-baked solutions to the hideous yellow airbag warning "stickers" on the sunshades. I made mine out of a combo of black vinyl and printed "Stinger" script to glue and tape on. But I would really appreciate a commercially, professionally made "Stinger" patch/decal/sticker to put over those sunshade airbag announcement rectangles.

Hey, I saw those thread, n I will say this, better then the airbag symbols, but I personally wouldn't do this mod as it doesn't look in place

If we made a cover with blacked out stinger script. Similar to a seat cover. Just cut out the mirror spot then that would be dope. Covers the front n back.

Or even vinyl the whole piece you see above to black with a larger stinger script. Covers the back alone.

What do you think of that?

Hey creative Stinger owners!

A graphic designer asked me to inquire the Stinger community for new decal/graphics ideas that you may have. There aren’t too many options out there right now.

He designed the side “Stinger” decals on my car, and I purchased the window flag decal from a site I came across on Reddit.

Post some ideas that you may have, no matter how big, small, or crazy...for any place on the car. We could come up with some really great ideas and bring them to life!

So the picture you posted, small vinyl with stinger on it. Instead of being small, make it fit on the whole sun visor and larger stinger script. So it doesn't look out of place.

Another idea was a cover for whole sun visor for that whole piece. With stinger script script put on via heat press. Similar to a seat cover its like a sock I guess.

I haven't done this idea, nor have a mockup, but I'm freeish tmr n will mess with it a bit. Even so if I do make it look decent. Its gonna be a one off kinda thing if ppl want it. I will msg you tmr or on the weekend with a update

Got it. This is the difference in aesthetics: I don't think that a knocked back, black (with white "Stinger" script) looks out of place; because that hideous yellow rectangle does, but we're accustomed to seeing them and blocking out the necessity of their mandated presence on all of our vehicles going back a couple of generations anyway. So, taking what's already, inescapably there, and replacing it, isn't out of place to me. But, I can see your line of creative thinking is better, actually. A fabric, close-fitting (sock) cover of the whole visor, with an opening for the sliding makeup mirror, is a great idea. The material would be a close match to the visor material. And "Stinger" would go across the entire thing, but not in white or any "wake up call" color: I like the idea of a satin or nearly gloss applique that only shows up in black on black because it reflects the light, while the "sock" is pretty much matte.

Ideally, an aftermarket sun shade/visor would be the best solution. That way the only visible difference in OE would be the removal of the yellow rectangle and the addition of gloss black "Stinger" script.
