I never liked the rear of BMW's, it seems the front might get even worse...

The European plate makes it look better.

I thought the exact same thing. I can't believe this is what the next M4 and M3 (I assume) will look like. I am (was? lol) a huge fan of BMW, but there is no way in hell I will spend a small fortune on one of these monstrosities, no matter how well they drive.

It is made a ton worse by a front plate of any kind. Why would "they" design a grill that is so extreme only to have it partially obscured and thus rendered ridiculous looking? At least the Stinger has bodywork to attach the plate to that looks naturally like the plate belongs there. This looks slapped on.

You know, maybe a car like the 4 Series might be an excellent candidate for bringing back aftermarket front bumper covers (in mass - a la F&TF days). Maybe I need to get in the biz! Honestly using the 2 Series or 8 Series as a reference, have smaller kidney grilles as the upper portion, and then a 1 piece slit as the lower section. For pete sakes the middle section of the huge kidney grilles isn't even for airflow since you can see the structural part in there (for the actual bumper structural section I assume). I mean the rest of the car is decent enough, it's really just those grilles that get to me.

....................maybe ............................but ...............................nope ! I saw one yesterday as I was walking across the street so I had a good chance to really look at it , its actually FUGLY , at least the rest of the 4 series looks balanced and complete , the G70 looks like a patchwork of different designs cues from several other cars to me .............................
