Hey everyone! New 2023 GT2 RWD owner in Ceramic Silver and red interior.

I'm looking forward to tastefully modifying my new daily driver and enjoying the memories ahead! I wanted to join a forum to get some insight, ideas and to have a community of people with the same passion.

I've had several different vehicles over the years, and I've never left one stock, I always do everything myself since my love of cars very early in life. Within two weeks of ownership, I've removed all the body emblems, installed tint, and got some TuxMats along with applying a sealant to the paint to help protect it for a little bit. Performance mods will be coming soon! My initial thought is the JB4 450hp package, suggestions or things to consider? I love the Injen intakes the best, but they are a little pricy for me..

Highly recommend sway bars to tighten up that suspension and whip around those corners!!

do you have any suggestions on which ones to go with? I haven't done any research on those yet. I did see a controller for the electronic suspension that should provide some customization though

Eibach, Ark, and Whiteline are pretty popular. I went with Eibach since Kia is familiar with them.

How much of a difference did you notice?
For me, I used to hesitate and decelerate when turning. Now I don’t give it a second thought, within reason of course

Howdy and welcome. Still passionate after over 4.5 years. :) I have Eibach sways: the rear was in a year and a half then I put in the front: main differences with stock: the rear bar largely eliminated the tendency to "step out" in the rear under prolonged cornering, and there was noticeably less hop/undulation: the front bar reduced body roll noticeably, but the main benefit was the almost complete elimination of the tendency for the steering wheel to "snap" over into an understeer condition: I know, this is counter to the wisdom that says to reduce understeer, soften the front sway bar. I don't know how to explain it. But the steering feel is completely consistent when cornering "spiritedly" since I put in the stiffer front bar.
