New 2022 GT2 AWD owner with some likes, gripes, and comparisons to our Panamera 4

I have an S20 Ultra and I haven't checked the literal current. My phone says "charging", "cable charging", "fast charging", "super fast charging", and "super fast charging 2.0" depending on how it negotiates with the charger. Plugged into the USB ports on the car, I get "charging," and it barely provides enough power to run Android Auto and not lose battery. When I plug the same cable into a decent 12V charger plug, I get "super fast charging." I suppose it's possible the cable is terrible and limits to a low amperage, and the difference is that the 12V charger uses a higher voltage, but I doubt it.

When you get 1.2-1.5A, does your phone charge quickly? Like within an hour?
When I Plug my Galaxy Fold 2 into my front USB port, I get fast charging on my screen.

Fast charging is acceptable and much better than cable charging. I wonder if the 2022's took a step backwards.

I doubt it. The wireless charger was just installed in my 18 GT2. its a brand new part from K8 stinger store.

Galaxy s9+ (sm-g965u), my spare phone.

Phone set to slow wireless charging, rate ~.9A,
fast wireless charging, rate ~1.2 - 1.3A,

During today's run I only had the garmin app running (garmin smartphone link), with no charging, went from 75% to 68% over 5 hrs. wireless charging was turned off.
