I've got a '19 Stinger GT1 AWD - K&N intakes, JB4 w/ Fuel & EWG wires. I've got access to 93 & Unleaded 100 (by 5gal pale). I've tried map 3 & map 5 with a ~95 octane mix but it will drop to map 0.
The log attached is a heavy pull getting on the highway with the new EWG wires - Just after 100 it dropped to map 0 and put the car into limp/no boost.
I did just change the plugs as the first set of denso's had 20k on them & the gaps weren't all even.

This run:
Pid was set to 15 and FF to 55 w/ Shell 93.

I've been playing around with different Pid/FF combinations to see if i can iron out the map drop under heavy boost but I think I'm beyond what I can figure out at this point.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Have another log which should be Map 1. I also forget to add it has a catch can as well.

The logs aren’t useful since they are not on the correct timing deviation setting. Try changing settings and re-log.

Added a new log. It logged Map2 dropping to map 0 right around 4-5 gear change - went to limp. I pulled over restarted the car and tried to relog in map1 which has a pull towards the end of the data where it dropped to map0 again.

I also dumped the map to Datazap.

The logs are still not right. Logs show the timing advance rather than timing deviations. However my guess would be that the JB4 detects too much detonation for the map you’re running causing it to bounce back to map 0 to protect your engine.

When i review the CSV of the 3rd attached log it shows raw timing for all 6 cyl. The first 2 logs show timing deviation which is the occasional 0.8 but mostly 0's across the board which to me would mean they are level w/ IGN1.

Plus how am I getting knock w/ 93 on map 1 which is for 93+ when it ran map 1 & 2 solid before EWG wires.

I didn’t see the first log my bad. You’re right timing looks good on the first log. Maybe double check the EWG connections.

I don't check this forum that often but fuel trim variance is almost always a fuel wire not making a good connection or being in the wrong spot. I can see that is triggering JB4 to go to map0 here.

Thanks Terry - is it better to post in the N54 forums?

Yes on n54tech or just email us.

Just wanted to share my experience, because I have the exact same thing happen, and I believe it's fixed. In my case it ended up being the Fuel Adapters. Even after checking the positap connector on the red wire, there was no contact. It resolved simply by pushing in on the wires on the adapters (both connectorts). They must have been loose when shipped.

I'm gonna take it for a log run tonight hoping this fixed the issue. Really hoping it stays in map2 - going to change settings back to default w/ EWG. fingers crossed - next step is to strip and solder on the harness.
