Just tried to fit some 18x8 +35 KMC spin wheels and they did not fit over the calipers in the front.

The discount tire guy I know thinks 19 x 8.5 +35 in the same wheels with 245/40/19 will fit all around. What do you guys think? Want to be sure this time so I am not wasting time.

The wheel barrels hit the callipers? Or the spokes? I have 18x8 et40 for winter and they cleared no problem when I test fit.

The barrels hit. Spokes should clear fine.

I tried the KMC spin wheels 18x8 as well and they wouldn't fit the callipers. I couldn't get them in 19x8.5 +35 quickly enough so I went with Niche Essen wheels 19x8.5 ET 35 and 235/40/19 tires. The 245/40/19 will be 8mm taller than the stock 225/40/19. 245/35/19 might be a better fit.

19x8.75 +38 with 245/40s on all four corners... they fit. The 245/40's are max though that's for sure.

Yeah dang went with another 18x8. I thought no way 245 would fit.

You have any side profile pics available?

Indeed... the 245/40's do fit but if I had it to do over I would have probably gone with 245/35's for a bit slimmer sidewall profile. I put down +/- 20k miles a year so I wanted something with a bit taller sidewall for added comfort. That said, when these are used up I'll probably switch over to a 35 profile.

Looks pretty good. And agree on the 35 profile. That and or lowered a half-inch.

I think the 245/40's are spot on. I prefer some meat on the wheels and with 40's you don't need to lower. Any rubbing issues?

I canceled my tirerack order since the wheels were on back order and think I am going to order 245/40/19 setup locally now. I think they look great! Bit unsure if I still want to go with the KMC spin wheels though. If you are sure those are +38 then I should have no prob with +35.

positive, this is my wheel: XXR Wheels: 527 19x8.75 Matte Bronze Rims

The +38 with 245/40's fit. Full disclosure, they were VERY close to the strut assembly. I drove it around 50mi or so, no rubbing, no issues at all. I decided, out of simply peace of mind, to throw a 5mm spacer on the front, effectively giving me a +33 offset.

Thanks Dan!

Saved 8.4 lbs on each rear wheel/tire and 4.2 lbs over the front. They are KMC Spin wheels 19x8.5 with a +35mm offset and 245/40/19 Conti DWS06 tires. Plenty of room in the front as well. Hard to see in the dark and I haven't washed the car in awhile.
