Hey y’all,

I have a 2022 kia stinger GT line AWD. I am so new to this world so please forgive me.

I recently purchased a set of 20 inch niche rims and I want to lower my car a bit so it sits nicer.

are there any dos or donts that I should know when looking for/ Installing springs? Do you guys have any insight or advice as to what to look out for or any expert advice to make sure it gets done correctly?

I know sway bars are also an option, is this something that you absolutely need? I know so little about these things but I want the car to look nice without changing the way it drives ( as much as possible). Any advice or input you guys can give me will really help!

Ha, just suggested Ark GT-f Springs on your other thread. 1 inch drop will help the look for sure. They are a bit of a bitch to install so get some help from someone who's done it, or get a professional to install them. it will cost you though. Get an alignment within a few days of install as well so you don't trash your tires.

Sways are not a necessity, but if you want the car to feel and handle as good as it looks, they are worth it. They do not make the ride any rougher in my opinion, just keep the body under control.

Sways are great. Make sure you get the adjustable end links as well since you will be lowered and you can adjust your endlinks proportionately.
Ceramic silver for the win btw

ARK or Eibach springs and sways.

I went with the ARK GT-F springs and the Whiteline sway bar set.

I had H&R springs on my stinger and liked them a lot. The drop wasn't too aggressive, but it closed the gap. The ride got a little rougher, but you will have that with any lowering springs. You don't need sway bars, but they will reduce body roll when cornering. When you're doing some spirited driving, you will notice the difference. I had whitelines with stock endlinks, set on the stiffest setting and they were great.

I installed my springs myself. I also had an AWD stinger. I would never do it again. The front axles made it a nightmare.

here are a couple pics of how it looked on the H&R springs with stock 18" wheels
