Need a hand figuring out why my lighting system is possessed by demons and won't work properly.

So a long while back I posted about weird lighting issues where the HVAC and shifter and seat heater illumination wouldn't work.
I finally figured out how to replicate the conditions, but there is more to it.
The high beams also will not work. At night.
Daytime, all lighting and high beams work as normal. Once it gets dark, none of it functions any longer. It is like the light sensor is wired in backwards from the factory or something.
If anyone has an idea of where I should focus my repair efforts to fix this, I would appreciate it. The car is no longer under warranty.

All I can offer is sympathy and hope/prayers that it gets sorted with a minimum of time wasted (and expense, of course). We had a Peugeot sedan way back when, a diesel with a sunroof (which I really liked): it's headlights were messed up too: the high beams would stay ON night or day when you turned the headlights on: we had that car for c. half a year and never did get that fixed. There were other electrical bugaboos that I don't now recall, including dash lights that randomly came and went. Electrical "demons" developing are the biggest fear I have: with a car this much more complex than an early 80s sedan, it boggles how much more there is to go wrong.

It is frustrating as hell because I have fixed all the other issues except for the rear hatch not working (already replaced with all new parts too.. ugh)
Time to see about how that sensor in the windshield behind the rearview is wired up. Maybe if I am lucky it was messed with by the previous owner but I won't hold my breath.

Hey does your rpm work? check wire harness, the one in the bumper, it goes into the engine bay. connects to EE11. e15 is the other side but that doesn't do much so it should have no effect o your issues. ee11 is the one that if disconnected won't light up gear shift lights or display rpm.

If the wires are fine then maybe it's a good idea to check the connections to the center console itself. Since all the thongs that you mentioned connect in the center console.

i got the dealer manual from a Russian. Kia Infoline Stinger CK 2018 3.3 T-GDI Lambda II is what it was called.

I traced the issue to the Rain Sensor on the windshield. Seems it works but the reverse of what it should. The normal light sensor on the dash does nothing in regard to this so not sure what is going on.
Rain sensor connector is keyed so no way to connect it improperly.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Sadly, yes. rear hatch also wont open still and I have literally replaced with new everything back there. It is giving me fits! FITS I SAY!
