MY22 Canada Stinger

So what on earth does this update entail? And is the exhaust now bi-modal--sounds different in Sport mode or based on some other trigger?
It’s a software update. According to the SM, the system wasn’t synced up properly. I had a 2018 GT2 prior to the 2022 and really couldn’t tell much difference between the two, that is until yesterday’s update.

It's going to be for a pretty small number of cars. I ordered my '22 in March, got delivery yesterday and confirmed with the dealership that the fix isn't applicable for my car. My guess is the first batch of NA deliveries had a defect and everything since then was done as intended.

Anecdotally, I can hear a difference in exhaust sound from sport compared to other modes.

The cars were built between January 15th through February 5th.

So now it makes sense that the one I drove had little or no difference in the exhaust--likely the software wasn't opening the valves.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Really glad I happened upon this thread! My 2022 Stinger was produced in January according to the door card, so I am reaching out to my dealership regarding the exhaust TSB.

Has this TSB been mentioned anywhere else on the forums? I swear this is the only thread I've seen it mentioned. You'd think there would be more discussion, especially since man of us feel like the 2022 active exhaust is so quiet.
