MY2019 -> MY2022 Taillights

That's the thing about aesthetics--it's all personal opinion. It's not like the Stinger is the first car with plastic on it that does nothing except for looking cool to a segment of the population--nor will it be the last.

I just hope we can all agree that, irrespective of the year, all stingers look orders of magnitude better than the Cybertruck--from any and all angles!
Comparing stinger and cybertruck looks is just an insult to stinger.

Everybody seemed to have an issue with the fake vents on the Stinger when released, but something about that non light bar has always bothered me more. That and the exhaust tips. Not enough to not like the car or anything, just a nit-pick on my part.

Cyber truck........haha, just saw one wrapped in black yesterday. Looks weird period, wrapping it doesn't help.
Coming from Pontiacs, I'm used to plastic cladding for no good reason whatsoever :p .

I agree that anything nit-picky is not much to complain about when it comes to the Stinger.

Nothing could help the Cybertruck...and I thought the Aztek was the most ugly vehicle in histroy until that came along.

Well, they are both wheeled vehicles...and that's about it.

Haha, me too, have owned quite a few Pontiacs. That's basically all I owned until I got the Stinger. Loved all that cladding on the SSEI back in the day.

A quick follow up. After more drilling. Both for the reverselight bulb holder and the bottom screw. It now fits much better and I'm quite happy with it. So it's all about drilling I guess. :) Keep drilling is my tip as well..

Hey everyone, my driver taillight just went out (brake lights work). Is it possible to do a bulb replacement? Or do I have to buy the entire light fixture (which means the middle piece as well).
TIA for any info… been going down the rabbit hole for solutions.

Unfortunately, you'll have to buy the entire taillight assembly. I'm assuming your tails are full LED. Not sure what you mean by the middle piece though, do your tail lights look like this?

Middle piece... meaning the part that is on the hatch?

You only need to replace the part that does work.

Thank you for replying! Yes, I have the same taillights as pictured. At night, the driver taillight is out, which extends to the under hatch lighting… so I was worried that I would have to replace that too. However, when applying the brakes the “middle piece” does light up.
So by purchasing the entire tail light assembly…. It’s the driver, passenger and middle hatch… all 3 pieces?

Something is disconnected. That many lights, especially LEDs, will not go out at once.

Not sure what you mean by under hatch lighting? By middle piece do you mean the 3rd brake light at the top?

I swapped mine to the 2022+ style, which does light up under the hatch. The previous 2018-2021 style don't light up.

1st pic nighttime lights driver side out
2nd pic brake lights
3rd pic reverse lights
4th pic night time light, driver side out, left blinker

Could this be a fuse issue???

Always check for loose connections first. But fuses are an obvious check too.
