Where did you "learn" this? Because as far as I can tell it isn't true. What limits the AWD is when it is a square 18" rim setup direct from the factory. The tires on the 18s are A/S; and while "high performance" are not "ultra high performance" summer tires. In other words, the A/S tires are speed rated at 150 MPH. The summer tires are rated at 186 MPH plus. I know that my AWD is positively not limited to 140 MPH; it came with the staggered 19" setup.

I asked a salesman where the battery was and they said under the hood. Now I'm reading its in the trunk. Can someone confirm this. If true this is ideal for me. Also can the windows be lowered and raised from the fob? Thank you.

Yes, the battery is in the trunk under the spare tire. No, you cannot operate the windows from the fob.
