driving and or fog lights. figure a line of l.e.d.'s attached to the side vents when facing the car. lower grille area, to the left and right. what is used to cool off the front brakes.
second, the fake vents on the fenders, the have to go. would prefer something along the lines to the hidden vents by extending the flare, ala vette, gtr.
same with the fake brake vents on the rear.
hood vents? open them up please
and, maybe it is just me and my height/length of leg, but, does anybody else find that where your right knee leans against the console that it should be padded?
again, please let me know, inquiring minds want to know. that, and maybe i will post some inane comment about your response. haahahahahha, i deal with several hundred people who all think that they are chefs and think they know better than myself and my team, so yes, i need to post idiotic and funny things to alleviate stress since the mrs is always out dragracing for pinks. we now have a growing stable of mustans and camaros, let alone all the hondas' with huuuuuge exhausts and the odd jetta/golf turbo with duck calls on their b.o.v.'s those are funny for the 1st twenty minutes....who am i kidding, those are hilarious. what were we talking about?

Sorry, always in a rush here. How about these for LED fog lights?

The only fake vents are the hood ones, every other vent is functional. I also really like the hood vents. Opening them would probably mess with the aerodynamics of the car.

Don't care about fog lights, it would cheapen the look and the regular lights/brights are just fine.

I'm not super tall, so I don't think the knee area is an issue, have you tried just sitting a little further back?

Tried. I am 6'3" and I like to drive close. Years ago, I did a racing school weekend in Vegas and instructor had said that sitting closer was better for reaction times.

And, are those stock driving lights? Guess mine didn't have that option. So much for my million dollar idea. I guess it's back to developing a heated and reclining toilet seat.

Didn't realize that the vents were real. Dealer and several articles I read said they were fake.

I added the LED fog lights via PhotoShop, but I do believe somebody is working on making them a reality...

Those aren't real, just a fog light mockup.

And yes, every vent except the hood vents are real.

The front vents pull air into the brake area, the vents behind the wheels pull/expel heat.

Oh, Photoshop. Niiiice. Was thinking something like the Cadillac Escalade style. Blind the bejesus out of all these truck Yahoo's here in Florida who drive around with those LED light bars on FULL BRIGHT!!!!! And their trucks are lifted so it's just perfect at eye level! Love that. And...those read vents will come in handy after taco Bell night. Bahahahahahahahahahahaha

Side vents by the doors are def real. If you look inside, you can probably see small rocks and other debris kicked in there by tires and air.

How about these?

I was tempted to have these on my car but I imagine it must be annoying after you clean the car if water come out of these vents as soon as you drive off the car wash...

See, I remember the ram air hoods from way back when, they had a foam piece that sealed around d the base of the hood scoop and the plenum that went to the carbs. I know here isn't much room under there, I will have to take a look and see if I can figure out a way to get the hood vents to actually become like a ram air setup.

ok, another thing that needs to be changed or added. a different horn. is it me, or do most cars seem to sound exactly the same? same tonal quality, same pitch. the land rover i had, i removed the stock horns because it sounded like a cartoon mouse squeaking loudly. mrs bought me a set that were significantly louder. and i do mean louder. had an old woman in the car ahead of me jump in her seat when i tooted the horn at her. it was worse if i really laid into it. what? i am a ny'er you know, we are all born with the horn button already affixed to our hands. that is what is called a ny minute. it is the time between the light changing to green and me laying on the horn. speed of sound isn't as fast as a ny minute.

Hopefully we can get to the current horns to change them

I wonder what the mechanical or cost reason was for Kia to decide against functional hood vents. Does anyone know? I imagine that the original plan was for them to be functional but some real world detail got in the way of it.
