Drag/Acceleration Mods to improve ¼ mile times and unofficial track thread

This looks like about the limit of a super hot tune with NO meth, beast mode launch. I had blown off a meth line and didn't realize it. The meth is good for almost 3 MPH in the trap!
Note to self, no more quick connect nozzle holders....

What fuel?

What fuel?
As your friend Guy likes to say, all of it!
E30, some 100 octane, octane booster. I went to the track the night before and the car was cutting so had the octane jacked up, not realizing I had no meth. 135 IAT at 80 degrees and a 2 hour wait for the first pass I headed home. Car ran fine but slower the next morning in the cooler temps and then figured out the meth line had come off. I saw the logs with increasing IATs and 20 -25 trims but didn't put 2 and 2 together.

How’d you do at the track? What times?

12.1 @ 113 with a 1 second throttle close in 3rd or 4th due to knock most likely. No meth @ 23 psi and 135 degrees is a bad combo. Found the meth line off the next day.
Just the one run as the car wasn't working right and the first run was a 2 hour wait. Corona mask, helmet, fire jacket, 80 degrees, waiting for hours was more work than fun.

Well, that is very promising considering the set backs. I’m pumped to see your times when she’s running just right!

Thats crazy how did the methanol line blow?

Not sure but it was a quick connect. Now all the quick connects have been replaced under the hood.

Trying to be a neutral reporter of the news using the 3rd person lol. I guess Tonkabob can be my car like Kato. I only ran the dragy a few times as i was focusing more on logging but all the dragys were .02 to .04 slower than the slips. LC was a bit off and never got a beastmode run so room for 11.1 to 11.3 range...

My driver said that he approves of the third person. Lol

Well shit, just realized I posted the list in the wrong thread lol.

Did this RWD switch on my AWD so you can do a burn out in the box- $15. ECU Brake switch needed too so you can hold the car back without power cutting.
Warm the tires, drop the intake temps a little...

I need to do this.

I actually backed into the water box and did a quick cleaning launch for the first time yesterday. It helped! I just spun the rear and lifted the brake when I expected the front would start spinning. It helped with temps and a bit on hooking. Considering the burnout switch now.

Pretty slick! Here's the finished video of the modified BMS Snip with a remote control I think I need to do a remote switch for this one too!
If you're interested...

Dude told you I was interested over on N54 :) Good stuff.

Again. Good stuff. Looks simple enough but a diagram would remove all concerns about how to wire it if you find the time.

I was really hoping that BMS would create something like this that integrated with the JB4. The advantage there would have been it only activates at 0mph, could disengage if boost over n psi for more than n seconds and the like.

I currently use a snipless 'snip' via magnets but it is a pain. I have considered using electromagnet but there is very limited space around the sensor that detects it and electromagnets are bulky and potentially too weak.
