Mods deleting posts

I deleted your post, along with 20+ others that were far off topic and had nothing to do with the Stinger. If you want to have a conversation about body building, start a thread in the community lounge.

One or two off Topic is fine, two pages is not.

What if instead of deleting these off-topic posts, we create a new topic for them? They could be moved into a new topic in the "Lounge". This way people can/will continue having their off-topic conversation where it belongs...

It can be one big off-topic conversation where all off-topic posts get moved - or separate discussions about the same "off" topic...

Issues? What issues? It's a game. Somebody has to be el numero uno in everything. It's just whether it matters or not. And as far as I can tell nothing about having "more" of something than everybody else matters one iota: unless it is an automobile race or some other actual contest. Even then, if you're not enjoying the contest venue for its own sake (the pleasure of "the chase" for instance, whether or not you score), something essential is missing in your pursuit of Joy. Amen.

I like open debate. Some threads do turn into debate. This discourages it - but maybe another thread should be created so it doesn't distract or detract from the intention of the original thread.

I know the thread you speak of, and I had a post deleted, because it was an off-topic post about everyone being off topic...lol! Not that I care it was deleted.

In your case, as happens with others, if I was to leave your post it would be out of place and confusing in the remaining posts. So yours gets caught up in the clean up, same with those that quote posts that break the rules.

Having a post deleted isn’t that big of a deal, there aren’t any magical internet points you are losing.

If we want to create one massive off topic discussion that’s fine with me. However moving posts takes more time than deleting them, especially on mobile. So I can’t promise everything will get moved especially if it doesn’t even have value as off topic.

In this case 1/2 the posts I deleted would have still been deleted for being offensive in addition to being off topic.
