BMW demands payment on financed M4 after owner’s mods

Without knowing much about a PCP finance in the UK it sounds like balloon financing.

BMW is expecting a certain value car to possibly be returned and they feel the mods won’t bring the value needed. It would be interesting to see what the fine print really says.

Kia finance (or whoever you/we decided to use) plays by their own set of rules. Unless you/we financed a KIA using BMW financing, not sure this is relevant to this forum..... unless it’s to serve as a form of a “could happen” for Stinger modders. I chose a Kia for MANY reasons over the competitors, and I’ll chalk this up as just one more in comparison to Bayerische Motoren Werke (Bavarian Motor Works). db

That's why it's posted in the Community Lounge - where non-Stinger topics are welcome and encouraged. Although most people seem to ignore that in the forum description.

You'll note I did not post in the Stinger Topics , AND I am only posting it as a potential heads up to not only modding on a lease or finance but also the inherent risks in posting on social media platform potentially viewed by auto manufacturors
