Mix and match Ecu + tcu brands?

If I have a lozic ecu, can I only buy a lozic tcu? Or am I free to get a lap3 or tork or whatever brand?

Certainly because the tune is what, $199 if you send them your TCU? Lozic is way more.
Can't recall seeing a head to head comparison though.
