• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

MIchelin Tyre Warranty

Not sure if you mean 25k miles or 25k kilos but that is par for the corse.

Pilot sports have a 28k mile warranty (so 45k kilos) BUT that gets cut in half when you have staggard fit wheels (thus unable to rotate them between axles).
Thus 14k miles (22500 kilos) is the factory tread life rating (which is assuming ideal driver and ideal roads)

I have a bit of a lead foot and I get about 10k miles out of the rears and 20k miles out of the fronts, basically I replace the rears every 11-14 months and I replace the front every other time I do the rears.
Thanks for the info .
Hopefully I’ll get something from Michelin .
If not might have to go with different tyres.
Thanks again

Hi thank you got your advice not impressed with the Michelins
Will look into the Pirelli’s
Had them on a )ag years ago never had a problem.
Hancook, Bridgestone Potenzas, Yokohamas anything with a decent tread pattern in my opinion. Talk to Bob Jane and see which are the longest wearing. Jax Tyres has same and Dunlop Sport Maxxx could be good too. Bob Jane probably will get Dunlops in.

Looking to do the same myself as early as this week. Absolutely pissed off with Michelins needing change in a few thousand as I have only done 20,000kms...and both fronts are worn and the backs slid the other day and I drive in ECO!.

Check the Bob Jane and Jax websites. Bob Jane wouldnt load Stinger. I had to search the tyre size

Thanks tyres look like they have been through a shredder,
Except for driver front which looks almost new.
Will check out tyres on Monday

When you do a google search on Faulty Michelin Pilot sport 4 tyres there are a few posts showing the same "shredding of the tread. It looks like a saw tooth just starting to appear on one of my tyres on the outer tread pattern

As much as I want to take Michelin up on this I dont want another Michelin tyre anywhere near my vehicle.

I have never seen this before on a tyre so they have a problem

Clearly they have changed the compound in whatever Chinese factory they use

It could also come about by running tyres lower pressure I dunno. I try to keep them up to spec.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Thanks for that
Looking at Pirelli’s and Continental
Next problem will be waiting to get them

Where are you FNQ on a previous post? I expect to get any of these overnight in Mel.

I noticed just starting to break on front right tyre as well. 21.000kms not good.
