Just starting this thread to see how MBRP’s customer service will go. received my exhaust looking like this. Frankly I don’t even know how this happened clearly it was packaged extremely poorly. Will update you guys on what they do for me. I don’t even wanna open it yet the thing is bent.

Ouch. Return that pos

The muffler shop can fix that quickly with a special tool. I had that happen to me ages ago with a different exhaust that was shipped to me, and they just expanded it back out in 30 seconds.

If that's all there is, it can be fixed in less than 5min.

So the deal is both muffler pieces are damaged. One has a dent in it also. They have offered to either make two new mufflers and send them to me, which would take several weeks, or send a whole new unit to me, which would take one week. However this was several days ago and they only appear to respond once a day at 6 AM after which they go radio silence, and I'm assuming they're off this weekend two, so it looks like this is going to be multiple weeks until I can get this thing on :/

Long weekend here as well so not expect a response before Tuesday

The band clamps they send suck, get some better ones before you install.

They are weak...or so I've read. can't tighten them down enough to properly seal.

I stripped out two of them trying to get them to seal using too many ugga duggas.

The damage is unfortunate and it looks like MBRP hasn't learned their lesson yet (mine were similarly damaged in 2019), so I applaud you for making it affect their bottom line.

Any particular clamps recommended to replace the original band clamps?

Just wanna provide an update, they still have not responded. 1 star
