Hello everyone! I’m looking into buying an exhaust and I’m already set on two, my only concern is that the MBRP pro active exhaust won’t work with my 2019 model because it says 22/23 on the k8 stinger store. Does anyone know if it would or wouldn’t because I don’t want to brake the bank buying a valved exhaust from valvetronic. Anything helps, thank you!

So i
After 2021 the exhaust tips are bigger and round. 2018-2021 are oval.
So in theory I could ? With little tinkering like getting a 2022 bumper and swapping it out with my 19?

there is a version of the MBRP for the older cars. I'm running it on mine. Perhaps not on the K8 store, but reach out to them or search google for the correct one.

I responded to your email earlier, but I will copy and paste it here:

The MBRP Pro Active Electronic Exhaust is designed to work specifically with the newer 2022-2023 Stinger models that have electronically controlled exhaust from the factory.

If you have a 2019 model, same as mine, then you would go with the pro series MBRP exhaust that is found on our website below, which is much cheaper as well.

2018-2021 Kia Stinger - MBRP Pro Series Catback Exhaust - K8 Stinger Store

This is a direct bolt-on exhaust system specifically designed to fit on your 2019 Stinger without any modification.

Reach out if you have any questions we can assist with.

If you scroll down to Vehicle Application, you'll see the 2018-2021 version linked. The 2022+ has its active valves controlled by the car, so if you install it on a pre-2022, you'll lose that functionality (unless there's some option for manual control that I'm missing).

Edit: Didn't see @K8 Stinger Store's response when I posted.
