I have had a few run ins with this sporty hatch at various (unkown) mod levels.
First run was agaist a friend of my brother on I5 north against a bone stock barely broke in stinger that went less than favorable. His was modified with a tune and walked away from a 70 roll up to 110 then i got off as he put a car and a half on me.
Second encounter was on a back road and this is hardly usable for the story as i was in front and all that happened is i got farther away (possibly just a crackle tune on this one) lots of pops and cracks.
Then just the other day a 3rd time seeing a speed 3 on the highway. This time i was frustrated at the left 2 laned being full of cars doing 2 to 3 over the limit (i know i know its fast enough but damn) i had noticed the right lane was empty for as far as i could see and couldn't resist the urge. I sped past on the right and a speed three jumped out behind and caught up real quick (speed of around 90 and i wouldnt recomend any faster passing on right as its just a dice roll that someone is not going to take a hard lane change into hell)
I tried to continue the encounter with this the third speed but the traffic got thick and he was willing to dive in and out of cars so i lost him.
Mazda Speed 3. Not a bad car. Not a good car. Should have been AWD lol
