• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

i just had the update done a few weeks ago but I’m still finding when I search for some locations it comes up with no results even when I know the location has been there for years. When I finally get there by using my phone, I save the location in the nav and it comes up with the location. Talk about useless.. anyone else experiencing this and is there a solution?
I’ve had the Same issue on numerous occasions

From day one ive thought the Navigation system shite, my garmin puts into shame it has pre-emptive text that really helps.

Well I thought this was an interesting thread, but it took a turn there. Hilarious fellas. :)

Anyway back on topic ... the only real useful feature of the maps is the speed zone and warnings, particularly in the HUD.
99% of the time I use AA google maps for my navigation needs and conveniently I can just say the address with a pretty decent result "most" times.

I have only used the in built maps once to see how they worked. I like the turn by turn in the HUD. But I use an app called WAZE. I think it's great, it is user updated & (almost). Users can note hazards, traffic Police etc etc. It has saved me some points here & there.

Great twist in the thread tho well done! :-)
