Log check with new ewg wires. Fuel wires have been removed will be getting some later this week.
I've been having problems with my fuel wires for a minute. got told to remove them to see if the problem is a bad o2 sensor on my car or fuel wires. I removed the fuel wires and they pretty much fell apart in my hands. I order new ones that should be coming later this week. I wasn't 100% sure if there would be a problem with me still using the jb4 or doing some logs but I did try doing some research on them and didn't find much. The car runs a lot better without the ruined fuel tires.how can you do a log or a real run with no fuel wires attached ?? how will it know how to correct the afr ? dude ! wait until you have everything hooked up properly before doing any runs or logging because its all bs until the sensors are in place .
I appreciate that!! what im mainly wondering now tho.. would I need to buy a dsub tool to remove the previous pins and all that for my new fuel wires? should I just splice new wires onto previous pins?oh ok , im sure it will def run better if its not getting the proper info fron the 02 's , but understand that the car has no idea how rich or lean its running to correct for proper fueling , wait until you have everything going correctly before ripping on it or logging
wires connecting to jb4 look alright. it's mainly one of the fuel wires that was missing a clip and on top of that once I started taking some of the plastic covers on the fuel wires all the wires just pulled apart from the adaptors. most likely the previous owner messing with them.no unless the wires are messed up in the board clips ?
trust me man I'm not trying to lol! just current situations. at the moment all I'm doing is waiting. I ordered my fuel wires off the stinger store since they ship pretty quick. ill have them hopefully this week. after that, I shall install fuel wires and hit a different gas station. 91 is all we really have here in calli but I am also looking into getting a cpi kit to use more ethanol! You're really all over the place.
1) Fix fuel control wires and relog once fuel control wires are properly connected though.
2) The fuel quality looks pretty bad here. If that is the best you can do then just stay on map1.
one more month and it will be a year lol. should of def done that a long time ago but at this point, I'm trying to fit it to just then buy the cpi kit.Man you’ve been having problems with that second hand JB4 ever since. I’d get a new one.
Fak lol. I’ll plug it into my old wires then! Most likely just my plugs are fucjedI assume you want or are missing the wires that run from the JB4 itself? the above is just an adapter, so you can wire tap this, and just plug it in on both ends, instead of tapping directly in. There's info and videos and stuff on Burger's website. you can figure it all out from that. pretty simple.
Excellent! Show us the logs. But be safe doing it.Peace has been brought to my jb4!!! I now have no problems besides running out of gas
spark plugs are going to be replaced next week also! I got some year old plugs with 20k+ miles on themI will post a better log later today!! after splicing the fuel wires onto the new plug n play adapters and installing everything my car was moving clean! no engine lights! new jerking, nothing!!! anyways I waiting a while for the car to settle in a bit followed by two launches lol. that is what I currently have for logs. two small launches since I needed to break and also my wheels kept on breaking traction, and I have some fish n chips in my passenger seat that I really didn't want falling all over the place lol.
Good!!spark plugs are going to be replaced next week also! I got some year old plugs with 20k+ miles on them
