I also have ewg wires! Not sure if y’all can tell if it’s ok or not also please

Look OK, fuel quality isn't the best. 91 octane? If mixing in E85 is an option you'll make more power with it!

Why is slow speed CANbus turned on?

How much should I mix? I strictly run 91. And I had no idea it was on! Just turned it off!

Does anyone know how much ethanol I can mix in for map one or two?

Shoot for E30. 5 gallons E85, 10 gallons of your 91. Try that.

what happens if i put one or two gallons?

Then your mix is E19 with 2 gal

so I added 5 gallons of e85 onto my car!! I couldn't get a log yesterday but I was feeling something interesting.

around 2k rpm whenever I feel like actually putting my foot down and driving kinda quick I notice that my car makes a whole bunch of wind-sucking noise and then my car jerks forward and back while it tries to break 2k rmp. after 2k rpm the car drives and runs smooth. now that I have added 5 gallons of e8 tho. the car jerks way harder around 2k rpm if I want to drive fast which is a problem because I break boost. the jerking forward and back, while I try to accelerate, is too much that my car lets out all the boost I built even tho I'm still pressing on the gas pedal.. everything after 2k rpm is smooth sailing!!! kinda weird tho!! not sure if maybe I need new spark plugs or what? (spark plugs is just a really random guess)

do you buy e85 in Hayward? The only two spots I know to get e85 around the bay area are in this location.

I have trouble code p0050 currently being thrown on my jb4? could this code be the reason why my car jolts when I try to press the pedal to the metal around 2k rpm?

not really sure where to locate this sensor.... either my jb4 doesn't have the best connections or my sensor itself is currently screwed. any help would be much appreciated.

Nope. That’s out of the way. I go to Propel Fuel in Berkeley and American Gas in SF.

any chance I could hear your exhaust someday? I'm normally around Hayward, Livermore or Berkley

Oh wow. You are going through it ever since you put in E85. Which is now given me pause to even do it. Hmm did you ever figure it out as to why it is doing that?

Sure why not.
noiceee!!! im trying to hear all types of exhausts before I end up deciding which ima buy. very indecisive.

i haven't Sadly. my car was doing it before I even put e85. now that I currently have e85 in my car it still does it but worse now that my car is making more power. I'm currently just downshifting and keeping my rpm around 3k so it doesn't jerk like crazy pretty much.

You gotta email Terry or go on the JB4 forum and see what is going on. The only thing I could think of is if you didn’t buy it brand new and it was purchased second hand and you have the old motherboard chip or whatever.

Did you try just disconnecting everything and see what happens? Maybe resetting the ECU altogether?

I've done that;c didn't get very far besides sending logs and disconnecting everything and adding it back on. I've been having a problem with it for more than half a year now. I've given up besides asking the forum at this point. I want to sell it and buy a brand new one but I feel messed up selling it. worked fine till I installed EWG wires now it hasn't been the same even if I disable EWG wires.

I want to buy an intercooler and also cpi. having a hard time buying it without fully knowing what's wrong with the jb4. ill be down to pay someone to give it a look but haven't found squat beside going in circles

The first time I reading something mentioning ECU reset.
