Just reinstalled my JB4 after a dealership visit and wanted to do a log check to make sure all was well. Here’s a couple WOT pulls. Running on 91 octane rn.

Holy log batman. That’s long. Unnecessary. Only looking for 100% throttle.
What plugs are you running? Are they gapped? You have timing corrections.

Lol sorry about that.. yes I am running denso 5346 plugs they were gapped to .026 when I put them in a few months ago.

Timing doesn't look good at all. Map 1 and 91 should work out but deviations like this lean toward bad plugs or bad gap.

Thank you for the feedback. I’ll change the plugs out and see if it changes.

The plugs may be fine, the manufactures recommendation for gap is .022, not sure why you did .026. Trust me, regap these to .022 and get another log before you buy another set.

With 91 octane often timing drops are unavoidable, and present even on the stock tuning. At map1 boost levels it's not too much of a concern but with excessive timing corrections on map1 certainly don't want to go up to map2.

Gap them to .022 for sure.

I’ll be changing to .022 tomorrow. I’m curious if it could be an octane issue as well. I called the dealership and apparently they put 87 in it when I was getting some work done. So right now it has about a half tank of 87 and half 93.

Yes, low octane is the culprit! Why would they put gas? Were you that low on fuel when you got there?
