So usually I daily drive on map 6 with default settings and 4 psi on all rpm intervals but I switched to map 0 since I would be going on a 300 mile road trip. I’ve noticed under light throttle around 60-70mph as it would climb from 1500rpm slowly the car would shake a little as if it hit a bump on the road. I continued driving thinking that was unusual then all the sudden the transmission shifts hard and the car goes into limp mode. Car shuts off on the side of the freeway and I get a check AEB system along with a CEL. I tried turning on the car multiple times but the engine would die as soon as it turned over. Finally I popped the hood disconnected the JB4 connector and reconnected the OEM connection for the 2 sensors and the car was back to normal. The car had a p061b code only which I’m puzzled by since it was in map 0. This started happening just recently never had a problem like this before especially on map 0.

Any ideas?

I've seen that fault before on old firmware but nothing since. Record a log if you want us to check out your situation.

Maybe updating firmware should solve it I am currently running 21/24//5. I will update and see if that solves the issue.

v24 is the current version so not related. Could try removing JB4 mobile adapter. If it shorted out or was damaged could trigger a fault on map0.

The thing is the problem occurs pretty consistently. Only happens when you are slightly accelerating while in the same gear. I have a log of it but could not figure out find anything. As you can see in the log the rpms drop slightly while still maintaining the same throttle.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
These are the codes I encountered as of now. Currently on the side of the road car shut off after a partially open throttle pull.

Im beginning to suspect that it is a faulty JB4 unit now since I haven’t done anything to the car in months and now it is having these problems. The codes it’s throwing out are also related to the JB4 connections.

If you think it'd a hardware issue email me a photo of the JB4 control board. Terry@burgertuning.com
Sure thing. As of now I’ve completely disconnected the JB4 including O2 sensor taps and EWG wires from the car and it’s running perfectly fine. Hopefully it is just a hardware issue because I love the extra power it gives the vehicle.
