So I just received the Mando SDC ECS10 for my 2018 KIA Stinger GT2 AWD.. I am trying to find out how to get the app for an iPhone here in the US. The app store says it isn't available in the US store. Any Ideas? I was going to install it today, but without the app will not do much good.

Thanks

They pulled it (Mando SDC).

my guess is something broke with recent OS updates.

give it a week or so. I’m sure it will be back out there.

Thanks. that kinda stinks. guess I will wait and see if they do before installing it. Not much use without the app to control it.

Is this all working now ?

Literally installing mine now. Was just searching to see what fuse people are tapping..

Never mind. It's installed and working just fine !

And um... Wow ! Impressive.

Does anyone know if you can change settings on the fly or should you stop and put it into park ? Or whatever.

The instructions that came with my unit were in Korean.

How cool is this thing!?!

Even in soft settings it's better than what came from the factory!

Put my Eibach sway bars back to soft and am using this to control the ride more now. Feels awesome!

yea it is awesome. I found that with 20's and lower profile tires it doesn't ride any worse that the factory 18's. Very pleased with it controller.

Looks like some more folks are discovering what a great little box it is and the cost is minimal to make a big change to the ride and handling of the car. If I can only find something similar for the air suspension on the e tron.

I pushed my stinger hard on some very rural twisty roads yesterday and I am not pleased with the body roll when pushing it and am debating between the ECS10 and upgrading the front and rear swaybars. Does the ECS automatically change to the comfort setting with the car's drive mode selector, or must the app be used?

It overrides the drive mode selectors suspension setting.

It does save the last active setting though. So If you leave the Mando in comfort, it will stay there until you change it in the app.

It’s a really good upgrade, especially if you have lowering springs.

I received my ECS10 today, removed the trim off the steering column, took a look, and thought "It can't be that easy. Nothing is EVER that easy." I came back in to check an install video... sure enough, it really is that easy.

yea it is very easy. The part I had the most trouble with was getting it power. But love it and so glad I got it.

Just viewed a subtitled video that implies this unit uses the gforce sensors to actively tighten the loaded two wheels (fronts on braking, rears on acceleration, and outside in corners). Can anyone confirm?

With the phone app off, do the stock settings return and are switchable with the console knob?

With the unit running and controlling the suspension, does the driving mode switch still controll the other parameters (engine/transmission feel, etc.)?

Are the ECS sport and comfort settings intelligently tuned and stiffer (or more comfortable) than stock…or do you have to create a custom profile for this?

Is it electronically detectable by the dealer when installed but not enabled via the app? Let’s presume you’re a master at hiding the unit and wires.

Thanks. Just seeing this and I’m really looking forward to getting rid of the very floaty suspension feel, especially on the rear axle, even in Sport.

To answer some…

Once set… it’s set regardless of phone being connected/ present or not.

It’s an override. Switch will no longer impact suspension settings.

Same with custom suspension settings in the car’s menu.

Actually, mine is different.
I think we've had this discussion before on another thread.

Yes, once set, Mando takes over regardless if you connect your app via phone each time you get in the car.
However, for mine, the switch between comfort and sport do play a difference.
In Sport mode, it definitely forms up the ride just as it does in stock form.

I have mine set to a custom user profile (a bit firmer than the stock). So when I drive it comfort, it's a bit firmer than stock sport, and when I put the car in sport mode, it forms up even more which is perfect for my application.

Mine definitely does not do this. Once set to enabled in the app, My mode selector dial in the car does not additionally change the suspension firmness.

I confirmed with with an OBDII connected tablet reading the live current values to the 4 actuators. I did cycle through the car's drive modes - but not on video

This video doesn't show exactly that - it just shows what the current (A) to the actuators is at various suspension percentages.

Do the other parameters (engine, transmission, throttle response, etc.) still change with the mode selector dial…or is the dial rendered useless?
