Major defect with my Stinger gt2

*Could not duplicate - entered back into service* Every pilots favorite response to a write up on a broken piece of equipment... happens all the time. When my yellow was in for paint, I got a camry the first couple of weeks, then left town for a few weeks, then got a soul the remainder of the time. It sucks, but I never expected anything better.

Focus on the battery.
Try a new one. Tighten grounds.

The vid looks like the display is vibrating and dimming like it is low on voltage.

Agree. Seems like a loose battery connection either ground or the positive cable.

I’ve come across electrical gremlins as well. Did you ever get resolution on your issues and determine the cause?

I missed this thread first time around, but I had a similar issue back in December.

After a very long time in horrific stop-and-go traffic into a tourist trap, the car just suddenly shut down. I posted about it here, but as I recall, would not power up for a short while. Traffic was so bad, it didn't result in a "situation" and I was able to get it started again before people got too annoyed.

Hasn't happened since. When parked a short time later, it reeked of "burned clutch", from what I assumed was poor management of the "smart cruise" system.

Probably 3000 miles ago, no issues since.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I had a similar issue with my 2014 Kia Forte EX-- it was a loose battery connection. My car would not start unless I opened and closed the driver's door.

@Cobrix has left the building. We'll likely never know the outcome.
