LSD: Limited-slip differential
ECS: Electronically controlled suspension

I found, if I choose GT, I will get LSD but no ECS. If I choose GT1, I will have ECS but no LSD... Only the GT2 will have both!
So now, which one is better with the respect of driving experience? I know GT1 also has more other things, but what if I only care about the driving experience?

The question is: how and where do you drive?

I am in Bay Area, so there will be no snow. And most of the time will drive on freeways I guess. And I will do some long drive, e.g., drive from SF to LA...And I am not going to do the crazy driving...

If you won't be doing any dig racing, then you would be better off with the ECS as the LSD helps you with traction from a dig.

The ECS will go a long ways towards comfort in driving. If you're not going to do any "crazy" driving I wouldn't think you'd need the LSD at all.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

The ECS is by far the best feature for you then if you are not buying the model with both LSD and ECS.

the LSD is a $200 option, I have it on my list and also confirmed this
Only if you plan on buying a Sunset Yellow GT. The other GTs do not have a LSD (Limited Slip Differential).
in dealer's store.

Sorry to bring this up but I read this thread while I was purchasing and wanted to chime in.

I have a Red RWD GT with LSD explicitly listed on the sales sheet, However several dealers claimed their blue and red cars had LSD or that it was standard, (A helpful parts guy confirmed this was a lie and many GT's did not have LSD, but there are also red and blue ones with LSD as well.)

I did notice that my diff has this number on it, ending with a -L, would someone else sure or unsure if they have an LSD mind posting their number?

When you say a "red GT" do you mean a base GT, or is yours a GT2? Because all RWD GT2's had the LSD. And apparently the GT and GT1's for 2019 will get them, so it's just these first year models that are missing out.

Red Base GT (0) not one or two. +Drivewise +LSD, listed right on the door card and confirmed at the parts dept.

Well then yeah, that's the first I've heard of that combination. I'd run out and crawl under my car to take a photo but it's raining.

You will never miss mechanical diff if you’re not an aggressive driver. I can’t live without it as I honk on my car pretty hard and occasionally ax it. In ax it’s awesome.

I wish the GT1 had offered it in 2018 model when I was buying

I have heard of Stingers with the LSD package, and you can build one on Kia's website with that package, so I'd believe yours does have it. I haven't seen any with that package in person yet, but we mostly have AWD models here.
