Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Okay then it's settled, pressure 2 and -8% RPM, I will switch to Lozic ECU eventually and when that day comes, can I send the TCU for revision?
Or that's it you get what you get?
I had a 1.3 lozic bar which is pretty conservative. You have a jb4 (depending on which map) say map 2 with the tcu tune, you should be flat 4s imo.

You can get revisions but it's about 400usd iirc for the revision tcu. But ecu revisions you just pay shipping.

With the tcu tune, you should hit that pretty easily.

My first tcu lozic settings was -8 (which most people chose) well.. -5 to -8%. That gave me 4.01 0-60 with 3.7 ft with roll out. But I did have a mild ecu lozic tune with it. That's about it.

I would go pressure 2 imo. Pressure 3 for most would feel abit jerky. So pressure 2 with -8 or abit higher would suffice for you.
Won't be as easy because his car is 600 lbs heavier. Fastest I've seen on that car is 4.3

Completely forgot about the weight of the g80 lol.

It's about 4400lb, I removed some things also exhaust and secondary downpipes, in map3 it keep up with a scat pack, but until the 130mph he gets it, so I think with a flex fuel kit from BMS and TCU tune, I should have the win easily.

No doubt.

What is your 0-60 now?

Map 3 with tcu tune should net you close to flat 4s imo.
Yeah man hopefully, I just emailed Lozic for the tcu tune, and in the summer I will buy BMS flex fuel kit so I could run E30, I don't want to run E30 right now because I barely drive the car about 200 miles a month, and putting E30 in the winter will absorb all the moisture in the air.

I hope you get it because that would be awesome. However, I think you'll need to shed a lot more weight to get there and most likely going to need a tuned ECU as well. Keep us updated, definitely rooting for all progress on these cars.

I'm curious, what are your 60-130 times. Can you post a dragy shot?

Oh these cars are amazing, luxury, speed, and looks completely different from any other cars on the road, I get asked what car is this many times a week, I'm planning on an actual ECU tune in the future but right now I can't it would be very aggressive for daily driving, and unfortunately I don't have a dragy to do 60-130 runs. But before the JB4 with just bolt ons it's faster than a 2003 mustang Cobra, and the same speed as a GT43 amg, both cars about the same weight and power.

IMG_20221125_154133569.webphas anyone seen this occ before, very nice design and small also, I got it from Amazon for about 15$, before this I had a Mishimoto occ that didn't trap anything, if anyone interested lmk And I will look for it for you.

If you have JB4, revision only needed if there’s any problems. Stacking JB4 map 6 for more high end boost on a conservative tune like 1.3 is way easier and than 1.5.

Yeah I saw David on YouTube do this he add 1 psi

You can use map6 to add more psi just for higher rpm to make the boost curve looks as flat as possible if you have WMI. High end output is juicy.

You can totally daily drive with ecu tune. Just stay out of sports mode.

After reading every single post for a week, I have two things to say: confusion and headache

I have a JB4, Catback exhaust, secondary DPs, and intakes, and I'm planning on a TCU tune, but I have no idea what shift RPM pattern to select. Lozic recommended -7%, twin-turbo, on YouTube he used -13%, and many of you have -5%. Is there an optimal percentage?
I feel the same way which is why I held off. That’s the final performance mod I’d like to add. But like your post, I’m unsure about shift pressure and percentage. It’s my daily driver So I don’t need anything that’s going to wear out my transmission but would like a bit of decrease on 0-60 times. Can you please post all your TCU selections that were ordered? I look forward to a review once it’s installed.

I saw one post where the owner had multiple shift percentages based selection. Did you do that or a simple one percentage selection?

I went with pressure 1 and -8% rpm, and for daily driving I think a TCU tune is very safe, but you have to figure out what rpm reduction works for you, now if you graph one of your jb4 logs you will see that boost drops when the RPM pass 6k, Atomic said go with -8% or higher, so I used some math to figure out at what rpm the trans will shift, normally the trans shift at 6250, if you multiply 6250×0.08=500, now you subtract 500 from 6250 that's 5750, very good starting point IMO.

Thanks!

I forgot to add the math onto that, glad you mentioned it for others to read it and have a better understanding on percentages.
