Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Might I suggest a compromise? get boost ready turned on above 2200rpm or so, that way you can cruise at 80mph on the highway and not be in 3-4lbs of boost at all times, and the number is still so low that you can still effectively use it when you want the sudden boost. Thats what I asked Lozic to do with my retune, as I was really not a fan of how boost ready behaved, because I was in boost basically from 1k onwards, which not only cut a few MPG off my average, but also made some very annoying Buffeting (best way I can describe it) noises that would happen from 30%-80% pedal input, because it was basically telling you that it wanted to go faster.

Now, I haven't been able to test the new settings yet because my car is still in the shop, however Logically (in my mind at least) it makes sense as a good middle ground, as realistically, if you plan to be doing more than 80, you are probably gonna be taking trips to Mexico anyway.
I was looking at doing a custom start point also. I haven't driven my car in 1.5 months so I want to relearn powerband before I decide. Should hopefully have it back by Tuesday.

When did you originally receive your ECU with the boost ready on? Because I definitely haven't seen a drop on MPG. If I drive like a granny (which I have been the past few weeks due to ridiculous gas prices) I get good MPG equal to if not better than the my factory ECU. When I fill up the cluster says 340-350 miles until empty. I do experience the turbo spool and blow off valves cycling more often than before but it doesn't bother me. The cycling is most noticeable when slowly increasing pedal input or when maintaining speed going up a grade.

I had purchased it from a user on here and had it re-vinned, so I could have been on an un-refined version, but I have sense received a revised tune with adjusted features, so I just need to get my car back from kia before I try it out.

I had a conversation with him yesterday and I'll be giving the feature a try. My car is currently down due to my cities wonderful potholes. When I get the ECU and car back on the road, I'll report back. Silver lining is that she's getting new shoes lol.
I know the feeling. Mr. Pothole bit me to. This picture is from March of last year. I had the Michelin PS A/S 3+ on then. Man those are great A/S tires. I made the mistake of letting the salesman talk me into buying Nitto Motivo tires and I haven't been happy with them. I'll be putting my factory PS4's back on within the next few weeks. They have been wrapped in plastic in a closet for over 2 years now. I figured I might as well get some use out of them since I'm not happy with the Nitto's.

Good luck, you should be happy with the revised tune. Any day I don't drive my Stinger is a bad day. It's a struggle when I pass her up in the garage to drive the old Jeep lol.

welp, the dealer told me it was going to be at least another week, so... le-sigh.

Potholes reeked havoc everywhere
Was large enough to park my car in. This state is the absolute worst with roads.

I looked at the Motivos and I'm glad I dodnt go with them. The feedback I was seeing from consumers like yourselves wasn't positive enough to justify purchase.

No.

I have 2 other cars to drive and don't really drive it much in the winter. Vehicle needed a new coil pack as it had a misfire. The pothole just happened to happen. I use my G70 mainly for fun. Lots of things, even tires are on backorder. I mentioned that the G was getting new shoes. Stuff takes time.

I hate to do things twice if I can avoid it. So car has been parked until everything is good to go. I'm not doing burnouts on a donut.

Massachusetts's if memory serves right?

Any high mileage Stingers here with ECU tune? I have 110,000km on my 2019 Stinger and LOZIC recommends me to also change my spark plug coil packs with it, since higher boost requires more work from them. 1.3bar ECU

I have about 78k kms, just had to change spark plugs, (hks)

maybe others can chip in.

Welp, First cars and coffee of NH is on april 10th in Londonderry if you're interested
Thanks. Might have to pass on that one though. I get out to NH, but usually just to the drag strip. It's a 2hour trip for me each way for Londonderry.

I think someone on here was planning a cruise or something through some backroads. I'd be up for that or a presence at the strip with a bunch of Stingers and G70s.

Well the strip was also planned at some point in the future, so we can make it happen for sure.

How many PSI/Bar is everyone running and with what grade of oil? I know LAP3 recommends 5w40 but when I asked LOZIC, he says use whatever you want. I’ve been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 for the past 100,000km and it’s been good to me. Should I be bumping it up to 5w40 if I’m going with 1.3Bar?

Imo for us Canadian lads, 1.3 is the sweet spot. We're pretty limited to our counter part (u.s) in high grade gas. Been using 94 ultra petro on 1.3 bar and has been running smoothly. For oil, I would stick with 5w30. Others can vouch for the oil, mine is due soon as well.

Genesis suggests 5W30 and that's what I'm running. I'm 1.4bar for now. I'm using Amsoil Signature Series. It's performed great so far. Did Lap3 give a reason for why they suggest a thicker oil than the manufacturer? Just wondering if they have seen something that would call for it. Usually you only need thicker oil on older motors that I have wear issues.
