Looks like this might be the end of the road for the Stinger

"Porsche-level performance"

Bold words

It's actually true! When compared to the base model Panamera turbo V-6:

Porsche is still making that model today:

A Panamera showed me yesterday. I got on the freeway and needed to get two lanes to the left in order to merge with the feeder, so I accelerated briskly (nowhere near capacity), and the Porsche driver decided that my moving in front of him in "his" lane was not going to happen: after my accel we were door to door, so, I backed off and crossed over behind him. The winner didn't even need to speed up, since his lane was going to end in half a mile with an offramp and a light.

Holy crap there is a $30k difference from the fully loaded stinger to the base Porsche.

I'm at one of the smallest Kia dealerships in all of North America heh.
Ours is pretty small, further North than BC...but with several stingers on the lot.

Interesting. If they do stop building them our Stingers will be a rare, sought after car.

You are Whitehorse?
Whitehorse typically have WAY more inventory than we do. (Considering they are the only Kia dealership for a LONG distnace) We have space for about 15-20 cars MAX, with 12 on the lot currently. We are almost maxed out with dealership density. 5 dealerships in a 4 hour radius We tried snagging one of the Everlasting Grey SX Sorentos for a sold order before they arrived, but of course no one is giving up Sorentos heh

Who knows what Kia is thinking. Find it silly that they're keeping the K900 around when that thing has had dismal sales.

I'd likely be jumping over to Genesis after this car, but that won't be for quite some time and the Stinger might stay in my fleet as a fun car anyway.
Since I am seeing more reports of the Stinger stopping production in th 2nd quarter if 22 I decided to check on the sales of the G70 and they are actually worse than tbe Stingers by pretty much. I would think they may fall unless sales pickup.

Word around Earth is that the G70 easily outsells the Stinger in S. Korea. So when making the comparison, be sure to check Korean car sales. After all, that's what keeps the K900/Cadenza alive in S. Korea even though Kia couldn't sell any in North America.
