trying to find a yellow gt2 to upgrade to and it needs to be AWD T.T. Looking at the price of I know I will need to pay around 37k-43k for it if anyone has any help or seen any for sale at all let me know. PS: if this is not allowed in this thread I’m sorry

Didn't they only build 400 yellow base GTs, no GT2s.

Yeah. Pretty sure the only yellow ones built were base GT trim, all RWD, and aside from being yellow the only difference was being the only non-GT2 car from MY18 that had a limited slip.

I've seen yellow GT2's. I think it GT1s that were excluded

Here's a GT2 that was posted here (for laughs) early last year.

Haha I would need to sell my organs for that but ye there are only gt2 and gt for yellow and even less are awd. I wouldn’t wana go through the hassle of refinance and shit just to get another gt. My dealer had 1 yellow last year when I bought mine but it was listed at 54k and they wouldn’t budge an inch(this was before the paint issue) so I couldn’t afford it but now after the Issue and them being used I would realy like to have a gt2 and I’ll be geting a white one if I can’t find a yellow one in the next couple months.

I saw a yellow one parked in the back lot of Hendricks Kia of Cary about a 6 weeks ago. It looked like it had been there a while. I figured someone turned it in after the paint recall. You might want to google them to see if they ever got it road worthy and listed on their site. I dont recall if it was a GT or GT2.

What about wrapping a more available (and cheaper) GT2 like black?
I was thinking about it but then the engine bay will be black or whatever color I get and a full repaint is expensive AF but another color would be fine but I wana get 100% what I want not 90 haha and I need to wait a couple months anyway

There were *very* few non-GT models in yellow. I have no idea of actual numbers but it would't surprise me if we're talking single digits.

Capitol Kia in San Jose has one. Click on the button titled No Brainer Price and you will be contacted with a price probably around 37k, if not lower. The one at Capitol Kia is new and already been repainted.

There's a new one on Autotrader with only 1xx miles (not sure why). I don't know if it's AWD, though.

There are at least 12 nationwide on cars.com. A few GT2’s, mostly GT’s. God only knows what the paint’s like though. You could always get a yellow then wrap it yellow if paint were an issue. Get a shade close to the engine bay and door jambs.

Tnx boss contacted and they said 45k for it but the only problem is it’s 2600 miles from me haha but I’m going to keep on looking that one is a bit to high caus I know I can do better like under 40k

Weird, they told me 38K around two months ago.

They built 100 GT2 w/ AWD as per my source. The other three hundred were split evenly: GT2 RWD, GT AWD, GT RWD. It is very difficult to find a new GT2 in general as most were sold or gifted to people connected to Kia either by employment or through family connection. I have seen two “normies” with the GT2. It’s is so choice.

Tnx for the info but ye new used I could care less I just don’t wana pay for a wrap or paint job on my gt. And also half the stuff that comes with the gt2 like the boost gauges and temp gauges are things I would not have to put on my gt so I feel like it’s just a no brainer.
