Log review

I tried a log with higher octane and in 4th gear prior to setting it exactly how you showed me to set it up. I’ll do one shortly and send it. In the meantime this one was with more Boostane and different 91 octane.
How do the plugs look? How many miles what brand?

I just put Denso 2 step colder gapped at .22 in about a month and a half ago. And have 62,000 km on it. I’ve had a few good pulls on map 2 before that I sent to terry so it’s odd that these aren’t good.

Are you thinking I might have to just get the HKS and gap them differently?

Ok so I pulled the negative on my battery to reset the JB4 and did these logs. How do they look?
Looks much better. See how much easier it is to read with the logging settings? Your timing corrections looks good nothing above 3.5. If you get up to E30 mix or an equivalent octane you can safely run map 3 with those plugs.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks very much for your help. So when I’m viewing the logs is the main thing to look at the ign 1-6 to make sure it doesn’t go above 3.5? I noticed the last one stopped at 3.0. If timing is high i should up the octane and log again?

Or are there other parameters I should keep an eye on as well when learning to read my own logs. I looked on the forum but it only explained what the different parameters are, not what certain things shouldn’t go above and how to rectify it.

I rec downloading the Jb4 tech app. Terry and other members post a lot of good info there about the Jb4. You'll find all the info you'll need there.

Hey can I DM you with some logs, and questions so I can finally learn to read my logs myself? I cannot figure out how to DM or I would have already. Thnx

Or anyone who can read them and can answer some questions. It seems to make sense to have a very very basic guide on how to read JB4 logs. Ex. If your timing is above 3.5 then it’s either a octane issue or plugs or?… things like that. Just a thought for the forum. If I knew how to read them I would’ve made one.
