I did some WOT pulls for logging and not liking what I see unless I'm reading this wrong. My AFRs are lean, timing is pulled all over the place. I did a few pulls Map 2 and 3. Cylinder 6 timing looked pulled bad so checked spark plug and gap with no issues. I'm on the fence to buying WMI to up my 93 octane since E85 isn't available here. Thinking about getting ram air intake and EWG add-on as well. How do these logs look? Denso plugs, JB4 w/add on wires 450hp package, intake, catch can, 93 octane. I had older logs with about same results so went to another gas station just to see if this helped. Any suggestions on what needs to change appreciated.

Not looking great. Timing is off on both Map 2 and 3. so bad gas, etc. We need someone with a little more experience to look at these for other things like AFR, etc. But Timing deviation is a bit much. I would do the ECU reset, and make sure you are getting quality gas from a station that has high volume so you are hopefully getting fresher gas. On 93 alone, if the plugs are right and the gas is good, you should be ok on map 2. Map 3, not so much. After the fresh gas and the ECU reset then do a log in map 1 and map 2 and post them up. Let's get Timing deviation back to sub 2.3's. Also, have you messed with any settings on the JB4 otherwise? if you have, email Terry and crew and see if they can help you get it sorted.

Thanks, I just reset ECU and will try a few pulls this afternoon. I didn't want to bash the GT1, but my Evo X is only 398whp and feels so much quicker so think the pulled timing/drop of boost has something to do with it. I haven't touched the settings, maybe I'll try map 1 and see what it does as well but I agree, map 3 looks horrible. I DD map 2 and wonder if that's hurting the car after inspecting these more. I'll post another log, map 1 and 2 later today as well as email BMS for their suggestions. Assuming WMI will fix it but even with 93 map 2 should look a lot better.

Not much better, I'll email BMS on this, thanks. This is twice map 1, once map 2. Even map 1 looks ugly.

What plugs and gap are you using?

Denso 5346 IKH24 gapped at. 022. They're only 3 months old, thinking maybe getting hks plugs might help
I don’t know, I have the Denso’s and yet to have problems with them. But I switched them out at about 12,000km.

switching to different spark plugs will not fix your issue, youre not misfiring right? unless you got fake densos (i only heard that thats becoming an issue recently, i have read about it a couple of times) but even then you would still have obvious misfires

No misfires, no check engine light. Double checked jb4 and shows no codes. To be safe I just bought HKS plugs in hopes it cleans it up. Just odd seeing 91 octane users with cleaner logs than mine. I might try map 0 just to see if ign 1-6 looks better.

I'm curious to hear how this turned out.

I got response from BMS and said logs look fine. I swapped to HKS plugs and logs looked about the same. Since then I slapped on the wmi kit and logs show .08 or .8, can't remember max timing. So I daily map 2, switch it to 7 for fun runs.

From my self taught research, the main thing was keeping the timing variables between cylinders to less than 3.5 I believe. At first I was under the impression your aiming for all zero's , that would be ideal but your leaving power up for grabs and even in stock your gonna have timing pulls etc
