We now have a "Local Chapters and Regional Forums" discussion area to host location-specific discussions. The Australians have had the "Stingers Down Under" section for a while now - but I think it's time the Canadians had their own spot - as well as different locations in America. If I need to make any changes, please let me know. You can access the new regional forums by visiting the site's homepage at kiastinger.com - or by clicking the link below:

The main reason behind this new section is for people to discuss things like local clubs, events, shows, local vendor, shop or dealer recommendations, member sightings, etcetera.

Now there is a rare circumstance where technical things may be discussed. For example, if Canadian Stingers have a specific feature that nobody else has - like a "Make Hamburger" button - than it's fine to discuss that feature in the Canada section. However, if it's a feature that all Stingers have - please post it OUTSIDE the Canada section. The last thing I want is to have people coming here and need to search through several different areas for an answers to questions. That makes for a bad user experience...

Any questions? Please ask...

Thanks! I see a "Pacific Stingers" subforum but am unsure if this pertains to those located in the Pacific Ocean Islands(HI, Philippines, etc) or if that is for those in the Pacific coast of North America? If it's the latter, any chance that could be broken out into a CA and then Pacific NW sub forums? Cali is sort of its own little world...:p

It may help to add descriptions below the forum name to identify what states are included.

Here is an example of what I’m talking about. United States

The Make Hamburger button is only available on the GT Limited in Canada. Sorry American friends you got screwed again!:rofl::rofl:

Agreed! I'd love to see a Pacific Northwest subforum, and I'm betting there will be plenty for CA to break down even further into NorCal/SoCal subforums.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I have no issue with making changes and adding subforums but let me get to one issue first. In regards to descriptions for which states each area covers - that does already exist. You have one page here:
Local Chapters and Regional Forums | Kia Stinger Forum

...which basically showcases all the different sections neatly in a small area. However, if you click further in, like here:
Kia Stinger Regional-Specific Discussions

...you'll find each forum with the states covered in its description.

Now...

Pacific Stingers covers the following states: California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska. I can break this up further - but before we do, I think it would be a good idea just to get a little activity in there first. People coming around seeing lots of empty sub forums either get overwhelmed (yes, believe it :p) or assume nobody cares enough to use the area...

I’m not seeing the state descriptions, I’m on mobile though. I did hit “request desktop site” and didn’t see any change.

Yes, I see. The descriptions are not visible on a mobile device. It's done that way to save screen real estate and bandwidth...
