Launch issues

I took the Stinger to the drag strip this past and every hard launch when the awd would engage, it engaged very hard and kills power. It feels mechanical. Anyone run into this problem?

Did you actually get the notification that launch control was ready? Just sounds like traction control to me though.

No I was using the brake snip. I turned all TC off of course. That was my 2nd time at the drag strip with the stinger and no problems the first time.

Yep same issue for me I believe either the TB was closing or spark was being pulled because of Torque Tags protecting the Transmission.

Really? It just hits so hard and then kills power. TCU tune would take care of it? Thanks for the help

Yep 2.0 60ft with perfect traction and pulling hard... Still makes no sense to me, the car beside me had a 1.7 60ft 200hp more 300kg lighter and I beat him to the finish line .

Driver mod? Haha but yeah I seen some people pulling the fuse for the awd, I was thinking about doing that and see if it acts any different on hard launches? I do have some videos of the first time I took her out to the strip. VDR
