Launch control Voids powertrain warranty

Tell them to show you the page in the manual that dictates this. Pretty sure specific stipulations like those parameters should be noted in literature provided to the customer.

I was told that driving with 3 people on tuesdays at 3:15pm over 20mph resulted in voiding the warranty, going straight to jail and not even getting my damn $200! What a rip-off. I want my money back!

For argument's sake: how would anybody know that the LC had been used more than three times in a driving session, whatever that is supposed to mean? Is there some onboard information gathering center that can be referred back to later? I know that Tesla has recorded driving information in their cars. But Kia? I would be flabbergasted if they did.

No, because the readings given to the computer show as normal, for example A Jb4 knows the boost is running 3psi higher then stock but still gives a different reading to the ECU. It tricks the ECU with sensor readings, for example it shows the ECU only 10 psi is being made so the ECU closes the waste gates to make the stock 13psi But in fact the boost is running 16psi it just reads it as stock and doesn't know any better. I hope I explained that well enough.

Coles notes: a piggy back fudges the sensor readings to make the ECU do what it wants.
