I have a 2022 and I'm having an issue with launch control. It says ready and I lift off the brake and it stays in ready status as I'm taking off instead of going active. What am I doing wrong?

But, do you get a launch? I'm pretty sure that the message is only that LC is ready, and that goes out at some point when you take off the brake.

I do but it's crappy. I think I get a better launch if I just go from brakes to stomping on the gas. The manual says it's supposed to change to active when you take your foot off of the brake.

That sounds right. I just haven't noticed, because I am not looking at the dash when I mash. :D

The message changes from "ready" to "active" once you launch..

Launch control unfortunately is pretty lame, doesn't allow the RPM's to get high enough to build much boost.
You can get a TCU tune that disables the torque limit on launch control to allow you to build more boost.
I gained probably 4 tenths of a second on my ET with a Lozic TCU.
